Driving through Vaughan and there is a huge Go Station parking lot but surrounded by SFH and 6 lanes of roadways. Why wasn’t some of that space used to rapid bus lanes or trains? The region is only growing and now that SFH’s have been built right up to the street there is no space for new transit
People who live in the burbs will continue to complain about traffic, will drive to huge commuter lots at hwy junctions, waste time driving places within their own burb all because they can’t fathom sharing a ride on a train with another human
There are huge apartment blocks but no transit and highway access. So they are creating density with no way of servicing that density other than cars. All the planners that have had a hand in this should be fired and never work again
