You've got to take care of the locals too. I mean it's all well and good, but we have homeless veterans sleeping on the streets. A good analogy would be Medicaid, Medicare, & Social Security in the US. Unless everyone has it, folks resent the ones that do. You have to be dirt poor, or old.😐
When you look at what the state did during Covid in Britain, it recognised the homeless as vulnerable, got them off the streets into hotels, and put in support workers. We can do that again, it’s a political choice. Of course, they’ll just become the next group Farage decides to hate, like migrants.
