The PLAN was for the entire war to be over by the end of March 2022. The PLAN failed when Russia lost the Battle of Kyiv, and there was no backup plan. Russia has been winging it with temporary measures, including price controls, ever since.

“State regulation of food prices, which has been gaining momentum in recent years, will lead to the degradation of agriculture and the food industry, as well as a sharp reduction in the range of goods on store shelves.”

And remember, the entire system is under threat because of this AND the government has also been increasing taxes and fees in order to cover their skyrocketing costs.

Here's an example of idiocy. In 2019, due to a record harvest, sugar in Russia was very cheap, which led to a decrease in sugar beet crops. In 2020, the price rose due to a smaller harvest, and Putin ordered a price freeze. Look at the result. They had to subsidize producers youtu.be/uHLPckqqZPI

The russian impersialistic virus will only die after it starves to death. This can be done literally by food shortages in Moscow; or after it has no more countries or land to invade; and starves that way. But peace can only be achieved after this virus is dead.

fakti.bg/en/biznes/96... Konya University Professor Haluk Gedikoglu reportedthat frosts in Turkey have destroyed up to 80% of the future grape harvest and 50% of the apricot, apple and cherry harvest, which will lead to a decrease in their exports to Russia in 2025
