There REALLY isnt a built in rate of fire cap honestly. Its a common misconception. Theres diffrent types of bolts for bolt actions and depending on that the speed varies. Also another fun fact the higher capacity mags [anything above 30 really] tend to malfunction alot and thats why I think that

should be the legal cap for manufacturers. its a whole spring strength issue and yadda yadda I can yap about this for a while. But yeah there should be a cap but the issue is with how non-researched the laws we DO have are. There needs to be better gun safe laws, we have some laws that make no sense

Ok, sure there's no physical limitation, but it's a skill you need to develop. Jimmy Whacko McNazi isn't going to be able to walk over to the gun shop, pick up a bolt action Remington and mow down a mall full of people like you can with an AR

With a striaght pull bolt almost anyone could get a reltively high rate of fire (although straight pulls are like, giga expensive) but to be fair I'm biased on this topic because I'm Marxist.

We should focus on closing enforcement loopholes and reducing exceptions in current laws rather than adding new ones that will just make things harder to enforce the already existing laws due to resource and training drain
