Well, hmm -- PCl5/PF5 gives it a reasonfor that structure. Artistic license of a molecule on the cover of a book about scientific communication -- a wrong molecule might just rile the chemists ;)

The first author, Olle, was a chemist, but he died before the cover was finalised. I'll go with your guidance on what the best molecule should be.

Sorry to hear that. We're friendly us chemists - always available if you need a molecular help out. PX5 is right - provided the bond angles are good (but that is pedantic!) Saw an awful one on a website today - an AI generated molecule, total nonsense. They should have asked an expert.
