They resisted writing tree hugger then
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
I certainly didn't get one in 1989, and I did end up applying to and being accepted by Stanford (for a PhD, not med school)
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
And one without mentioning Fibonacci? ;)
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Sounds peaceful ...
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Is she available - not yet been hired by the Trump administrtaion then
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Did you know there's a part of Utrecht where all of the street names are butterflies?
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
There's always been a lot wrong with him
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Poor you. Brings back memories of some very grotty toilets.
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Yep - it's fun getting neked in a public toilet - and making sure nothing but the soles of your shoes touch the floor! Enjoy
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
About time his membership of the human race was revoked
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Yep - always do the opposite of what any decent, wise president/person would do
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Trump often has a smiley face too. Definitely a parasite.
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
... And mixing household cleaning agents
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
That word that Americans really don't like to use is getting a lot more use with Trump & his idiots in the White House
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
There are other producers - a friend of mine in Denmark has a company sourcing it from another West African country
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Because he absolutely hasn't got anything more important to do ...
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Was, past tense
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
It's the English language in his throat fighting not to be abused by his nonsense
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Lunatic!
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Yep. It is my *sometimes reliable* friend, who's always there for a quick question to get me started -- then I cross-reference & double check everything of interest. And pretty reliable when the source material is well documented -- I was learning basic nutrition biochemistry from it recently.
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Yep. Never without human intervention. That is dangerous. In my case it found a connection between 2 things I gave it - previously overlooked - and that enables me to pose a question come the time. A massive help in that sense. Also great at 1st drafts of BS legal letters - I hate writing them
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
It can be a pretty good lawyer! I gave it some documents recently - and it found a thing the humans (albeit idiotic tax officials) have been missing for years :)
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
How much thought goes into wind turbine paint systems, I wonder. Matt, non-reflecting etc.
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Keep track when it's not a lie -- much easier ;)
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Thanks for explaining. It's always been a thing, happens periodically - just a bit annoying .... but then I go to 6 Music :)
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Ah, OK. so it could be here - I bet the hot water wasn't connected in that mixer tap (which confused me); they (now) usually just have a cold tap, as you'll know. I have seen those soap things, didn't think it was here - but the tiny sink is certainly very Dutch.
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social)
@rickedwards1.bsky.social @rachelburden.bsky.social Technical problem - the sports rights recording just started up - for no reason - so us listening online outside of the UK can no longer hear you. Please tell your tech guys. Thanks
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Not NL - but you could certainly play that game with toilet sinks here too
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Shame about that....sad. Hope the fence is okay
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
It's got a sail! Much like when my mother named her cat Bonnie after Chris Bonnington because it liked climbing!
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Currently operating at warp speed then
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
It would be good to see a real kintsugi Erlenmeyer!
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Long podcast then!
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Yep, there's a future ep for you - history's wartime inventions
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Yep, the golf course needs him ...
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Sounds like they have peace on their mind then
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Trump suggests ... air Yep, he's mostly hot air.
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Plumming the depths of humour there
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Sounds good, I'll be here. And if you have any settling in, getting to know how to do stuff in NL questions let me know. Happy to help.
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Thanks. Yep, it's a bit of a craft beer fest in this places these days - Jopen's church in Haarlem and others. Let me know if you're in Utrecht, happy to give you a beer tour -- Kafe Beligei is well worth a visit, so many beers in that place.
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Canola is the worst example anyway - it's got a very good fatty acid profile - especially compared to awful animal fats
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
I see you're a brewer too - are you finding some good stuff in Amsterdam? e.g. 'IJ. We've got some nice little breweries in Utrecht too.
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
He's never heard of Sarah Palin's house then
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Not really. I'd give him rare credit there. I'm much younger and my knees are shit
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Well, he would be if he gave a fuck
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
He says words - mostly uninformed - mostly wrong - many lies. Simple really - don't believe his BS
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
You found the right path eventually then :)
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social)
@rickedwards1.bsky.social Sprinters don't actually have big calves -- I was also surprised to learn that listening to a physiology expert a while back. Huge quads maybe, with skinny calves.

Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Utrecht's -- it's even better :)
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social)
@rickedwards1.bsky.social Trump is making the script of Idiocracy reality -- of course there will be UFC at The White House
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
A first time for everything then ...
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Yes. If you have reason to think about it - do it.
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social)
@jimsciutto.bsky.social How come you can't say quorum correctly - you've invented your own version there 😉
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Bloob-berry - 3, see!
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Yep, several milliseconds of deep thought for that genius :)
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Sorry to hear that. We're friendly us chemists - always available if you need a molecular help out. PX5 is right - provided the bond angles are good (but that is pedantic!) Saw an awful one on a website today - an AI generated molecule, total nonsense. They should have asked an expert.
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Fender Catocaster, innit
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Sounds like the right place for the job. I missed out on lots of early rehab because I moved cities - possibly slowed the recovery
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Mean & Mini Mean
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Yep. So many sports people do it. And come back from it. And it can be a very big deal. i pretty much operate with 1.5 legs, given the left is weaker.
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Well, you'd have to pay people to take the drugs that RFK is coming up with!
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social)
@gregjenner.bsky.social Maybe you can do an ep on the history of arthroscopic surgery -- I'm happy I got my ACL fixed in the 90s not the 80s, when I tore it - www.bbc.com/sport/footba...
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Putin wants to play him personally then ...
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Well, hmm -- PCl5/PF5 gives it a reasonfor that structure. Artistic license of a molecule on the cover of a book about scientific communication -- a wrong molecule might just rile the chemists ;)
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Congrats! Molecule on the cover? PF5 or PCl5? Or a 5-bonded carbon (I hope not) :)
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Yep, perfect for Japan's narrow residential roads
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
It didn't make his hands bigger though :)
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
That's a Bond movie, isn't it!?
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
I think it's a whole lot easier to understand when the terminology is right -- the little-known word xenobiotic needs to get a lot more use. If something is xenobiotic, i.e. not known to nature, then it certainly shouldn't be food. One word can do a lot of heavy lifting there.
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
This is awful autotuned crap by The Voidz -- autotune should be banned from 6Music, it's not music
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Yeah, but he's much worse even than that...
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
React ... with laughter?
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Took a while to grow the coffee beans, too, I bet... editors don't think about that
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Better to write a book about why her campaign didn't begin 3 years earlier
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social)
@rachelburden.bsky.social @rickedwards1.bsky.social BMI is perfect ... for identifying who really knows what they are talking about RE: health and fitness. And who can't figure out the difference between a jelly belly & rock hard muscle man! It's obviously an appalling equation but is a handy guide.
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
No
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Likely excited about what's next. Spewing out a train of thoughts and details -- busy minds wanting to get on with the next thing troubling them ... More media training required perhaps :)
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Wannabe politicians? Or just spacey unfocused archetypes :)
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Lionesses also have IIOME
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
He's a crazed lunatic, yes, and what did he say about the shooting?
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Or ome-omy
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Lots of sugar? 25% or so, I guess
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent

Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
59 seconds longer than necessary then 😊
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent

Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
And might just be unable to deal with people calling him out on his BS - if only more people did it
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Yep, if all else fails try (tiny) dick jokes
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
Some clever grifter cleaned out his pockets then!
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent
He misunderstood -- the Japanese are intrinsically polite, got to get the subtext -- what they meant is "fuck off, you greedy orange twat"
Anthony England (@ebolaphone.bsky.social) reply parent

@rachelburden.bsky.social @rickedwards1.bsky.social Your quiz is a tiny bit daft - Vicky is a commentator, it's the end of the tournament - she knows the squads, part of her job ;)
