Well, as the parent of a trans child, the entire time any Democrat has been in office and they have power, they haven't. And it's on the platform. I'm not sure what fuels your skepticism, but I hope it's not a few white guys who aren't making those policies.

Let's try this then: 1. Who wants to jail and kill all trans ppl, after declaring them sex offenders? 2. Who has a few bigots who we have to push back on but has a platform of diversity, inclusivity, and equity and passed multiple laws for trans rights? And will not kill trans ppl?

I would argue #2 is the group one shld vote for in a binary system. And then push them hard to make sure the few fools are un-elected and contained. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Well, then. What can I say? It's never happened and policies have passed supporting trans ppl and while there is no real possibility of it, if enough ppl believe this, we cld lose the midterms. Both of my kids are trans and I'm not going to do anything to elect GOP. At three years out we can push Dem leaders to take a proper stand for their rights.

We should absolutely vote for Group 2. But before that we should push Group 2 to be better than they currently are.

It's coming from the same thing as Gaza stuff. Some ppl are fooled by the rhetoric and want to help. Some ppl are fueling the rhetoric for attention. Some ppl are just really set in their patterns of bias. I'm terrified tbh. If this continues, we'll lose the midterms.
