And these online leftists don't realize that even in the most "red" districts, they're actually pretty damn purple. They don't get the gerrymandering and voter suppression that's happening.

The Republicans who've run for state and federal house seats are well-heeled, high visibility business owners that we have to fight tooth and nail to defeat while being extra careful not to alienate people who patronize their businesses. It's a nutso two-step and I'm sick of it.

It's such a damn balance, and it drives you mad when you know the damn GOP ads are working. I'll never forget last year being in a pub for a Colts game, and that anti-trans shit ad came on against Harris and people were glued to the tvs. I told the hubs, "We're in the fucking bad place."
