Dixie and I rewatched this a year or two ago, and it totally holds up, thanks to it looking gritty and real, full of practical effects, and taking its source material (the comic, not the cartoon) seriously. It's really good! Also good: the Mutant Mayhem animated movie from 2023! Like, REALLY good!

My buddy and I checked out the re-release at South Shore last week. Totally worth paying full ticket price for a 35-year-old movie I've seen a hundred times! 😅 (not sarcastic)
