How's about capital one raising my interest 10% back in 2008 to cover lost payments from OTHER individuals.
I don't know how you can constantly lose - you literally have to be present in your establishments to use a card. People definitely lie with these though.
This was an online order. But I’ve never won an in-person one either. People lie, people forget, and stolen cards are used in person.
Yeah, that’s fair. I stopped taking credit cards unless asked because of the fees and potential for chargebacks. Oddly enough, the only one I’ve had so far is when a client entered their account wrong for ACH.
This is a common conversation topic between me and Steven (despite us having very different business models). I probably think about it too much but I also have never won a dispute.

It’s so different in Canada. We just call make the fraud complaint and it’s taken care of immediately. Our banking and credit systems are vastly different. I wish yours wasn’t actually predatory. Helps no one
