I'll never understand how people get like this. How they can hear the vile garbage pouring out of their mouths and not see it for what it is, how they rationalize it.

The thing to remember is that there actually are a lot of really scary examples of things like child soldiers in Gaza or crowds baying with jubilant bloodlust as they defile and parade the bodies of murdered Jews around, and they do real nasty things to the psyches of those who feel involved.

In Loomer's case in particular, as she sides with people who don't mind that, I wonder. But still, point taken.
