They have less than 30 days to try to indict him and they’ve tried twice already and failed. The judge called their baseless charges excessive. It’s not happening.

They weren’t convicted. Being convicted would have meant due process. Those that did have due process like Khalil were able to prevent being deported.

Khalil got lucky, on many levels. How many innocent people are sitting in El Salvador right now without any recourse? We got two people back out of hundreds. No sentence, just prison forever until death. You don't have to stick up for our corrupt courts, you know.

You haven’t been keeping up. Most were released from El Salvador. Bukele was taking too much heat for it. Venezuela cut him and deal and Venezuelan citizens were returned.

That may be, I've been in hell since 1/6/21 and it keeps getting worse. A lot of people have. People like me that see we have no future in the USA for our kids, as it stands. You seem to know, how can we trust courts here if the SC can undo any meaningful verdict? it seems a losing battle

There were important ones he lost or the rulings were mixed. SCOTUS allowed him to fire people working for depts in the administration, but he couldn’t mess with the Fed. Right now he’s bristling at that ruling and trying to slide around it, threatening members of the Fed Bd of Govs.

OK, how about every SC opinion released since summer of 2022. Add them together, there is no future for democracy / liberals in this country. They have pre-conceived opinions and then back track to rationalize them. Equaling protection for the biggest criminal in our countries 250 years.

He’s just being realistic about what happens next. There are norms being destroyed now that cannot be fixed quickly or simply. There are institutions that have been ruined and won’t be easily rebuilt. If you say “the Courts will save us” the only question is - how many guns do the courts have?
