I often think about a person who is separated from social media keeping a notebook where they write posts in and demanding other people read them and decide if they deserve likes
There was a YA book about kids that were too online getting sent to a sleep away camp and there was something going on, only read the back and thought it was funny, I would have characters doing analog versions of social media, one of them would have a instant camera
Internet addiction exists but not in the expected people (non-elites)
im internet-addicted but i also have to do this every time shabbos immediately follows yontif so im capable of detoxing
