The West can’t. China makes almost EVERYTHING we need, or consume. Also we have lots of money invested in China and they have in the West. It’s what keeps us from going to war.

Some in the West can't, some can. I'm Australian, and we have, on many occasions, coerced china to step back and completely undo punitive measures they put in place against us, why? Because China is absolutely dependent on our iron ore, coking coal, grains and beef.
