I’ll make the argument that he was a terrible president that didn’t do anything. Medicare for all isn’t that great and healthcare costs are still insane. He is a conservative he is NOT a progressive icon. His failures made it easy for trump To win twice

I can't argue with that. Dems are probably comparable with the Conservatives here (UK) just slightly more socially liberal. My take on Democrats is that they want to be in charge for the sake of it, not because they have any particular values or beliefs. Much like our current PM
