It's astonishing how much the anti-palestine movement ignores how Israel played a key role in making Hamas the governing party in Gaza. Why? Because Israeli hypocrisy is a massive embarrassment to a movement that likes to pretend that Palestine is the sole aggressor. They don't like self reflection

Israel has made mistakes. And still makes them. But that doesn’t change the reality that Hamas is a genocidal terror group committed to exterminating Jews and uses its own citizens as shields to protect itself. It also doesn’t change the fact that there is no pal state as long as Hamas is in tunnels

So Israel will genocide Palestinians because "Oops, they got in the way"? That was a mistake, but we can forgive them for that. Is that the justification for the killing of UN, Red Cross, other aid personel and journalists? Is that forgivable? Is killing only unacceptable when the victim is a Jew?

Palestinians are not getting in the way. Hamas designed this war to cause maximum devastation to its own citizens. It’s very proud when it reports new al Aqsa martyrs. Hamas’s constitution says that death for god is glorious. Hamas gambles that it can tolerate more death than the west. It’s right.

You're right, Palestinians aren't getting in the way, they're being deliberately targeted. Is the IDF falling into Hamas's trap when it rounds up women and children, puts them against a wall and shoots them en masse?
