Our legal system was not designed to bring justice to victims of sex crimes. If it had been, it would not look anything like what it is.

At least he's has been convicted on the prostitution-related charges. The jury acquitted on the trafficking and racketeering charges because the government failed to make its case, esp w/ Combs attys skillfully undermining the jury's confidence in the prosecution.

That’s the system working as designed.

I suspect that the SDNY prosecutors had hoped it would end up otherwise, so it's not as designed by them.

Nope. It’s like over 200 years of patriarchal decisions that led to this point

While I may have a personal opinion, I honestly can't say what verdict I would have given since I didn't hear all evidence presented. However, I did hear an interesting interview that maybe having a prosecution team of 7 white women 8 men and 7 people of color wasn't best tactic.

The fact that those things matter, or can be perceived to matter, is part of the system as designed.

Our legal system was designed by men who shit in buckets and didn't believe there could be a sex "crime" other than buggery. It does indeed suck.
