I usually read four books at a time (I have adhd and this is what works for me lol) and I try to read just one chapter/section from each every day. You end up taking longer to finish a book, but you also get to sit with it longer, and I find I get more out of this slower approach to reading.

There’s a great book called “how to hide an empire” about this that really blew my mind.
When I was an Amazon driver, holidays weren’t really holidays. Nobody gets paid holidays. If the holiday falls on a day that you’re regularly scheduled, you have to make up that day to get your regular weekly hours. Would it kill the company to give everyone real paid holidays? Happy Labor Day.
