Aw, poor Ellie. Maybe this vet should consider a different profession 😬 Chewie was 1/2 Corso and some vets requested I gently hold his head and talk to him during his exam to make sure he didn’t unexpectedly snap at them (he never did) but understood mastiff behaviour.
And as much as I loved Chewie and he was my big baby, I wanted a dumb love bug for our next dog which is how we ended up with Lola - a golden retriever, who loves everyone.
I think our next dog will be a docile breed, too. I just love Ellies personality so much. She sassy like her momma

Our son in Ontario who has a mixed breed, that they suspect has some Corso, along with lab and pitbull, was asked to have her muzzled for her visit to their new vet in their new community. They chose instead to take her back to the vet they all loved, an hour away.
Aww I love Luna!! I would do the same. The doc she had last year only does surgeries now. Such a bummer! I have a soft spot for "misfit" dogs.. cuz girl, same.
