Printed on my Bambu Lab A1 with PLA Basic filament on both - .2 nozzle on the left, .4 nozzle on the right. Huge difference. Honestly surprised. Printing took three or four times longer, of course. Spaceship model from Fat Dragon Games’ new Battlefront Valkyrie game.

Honestly the quick change nozzles on the A1's make them such good printers for hobby stuff. I could never be bothered to swap nozzles outside of maintenance in the old days. But swapping in a 0.2 on the A1's for some minis is so easy. Yeah its slow print though lol. Still less annoying than resin.

I'm surprised printers keep coming with .4 novels. For most projects you either want a .2 for fine detail or a .6 (or higher) for speed. .4 disappoints both camps.

I’ve had good luck with .4 on the Bambu Lab A1 for terrain - great mix of detail and speed.

Same here. Didn’t expect that much of a difference. Try the "FDG Custom Bambu Studio Miniatures Profile" by Fat Dragon Games (available on Drivethrurpg for free), it gets even better results for minis with a .2 nozzle.

I was not prepared for how good the quality l detail on the .02 nozzle would be. My resin printer might be sitting dormant for a while.

Wow, that is a significant difference. Unfortunately my printer is too old and slow to consider trying that.

I just got an A1, and it's amazing. Have you tried lowering the gap to .16, it'll improve the prints (but slow the printing).
