Seems like one of the Netgear switches went bad. So since TP-Link seems to suck and maybe even Netgear is trouble now (used them for decades but you know - enshittification) WHO else makes switches these days? All I see on Amazon is UGREEN and a bunch of random-letter corps.

I *highly* recommend Ubiquiti switches.

Local stores only seem to carry TP-Link and Netgear, of course.

Look at Ubiquiti (available from Amazon), they were a businesses brand that has started moving into the home space. Performance, support and cost is decent as well. Unfortunately, since wireless is prominent and more companies have chosen to leave the wired market.

Another vote for Ubiquiti. I don't use them myself but all my network technician friends use them, so I think that is a recommendation.

Have you had a look at Linksys? They're pretty good. I have a Ugreen USB-c power bank and it's a good product, so the brand seems good too.
