People will do just about anything, including blaming the sick, to avoid thinking about their own prospective deep illness. Very commonly they'll then declare that they would kill themselves rather than endure it. They want the disabled to know that they feel their lives are worthless.

Prior to getting Covid, I had just run a full mountain marathon. Read that again. 5+ years later, I still can't take a walk. I can't go to work. Are you in prime health? One Covid infection can change that. One Covid infection can make you part of the disabled ranks. Protect yourself and others.

Covid is airborne. It travels like smoke. Many people with active Covid don't have symptoms. A well-sealed mask protects you as you're out and about. HEPA filtration cleans indoor air. We're experiencing another Covid surge. Let's look out for each other and prevent the spread of illness.

It's REALLY important to understand that people can spread Covid without active symptoms. That could be you! That could be anyone around you. Like smoke, the virus lingers in the air of enclosed spaces, even if the viral carrier has already left. Elevators and bathrooms are enclosed spaces.

Good points. People are still surprised when I mention how it lingers, and asymptomatic spread.

Covid also damages the immune system in ways that are still being studied, leaving people vulnerable to all manner of other illnesses. You do not want to adopt a stance that it's fine to repeatedly be infected. That's playing Russian roulette with your health.

So let's do our best to take care of each other as a community. We can do it! We're stronger together.
