Italian dockworkers' union in Genoa/Genova says if they lose contact for 20 minutes with their boats providing resources or if a hair on any worker's head is touched, they'll stop all shipments to Israel, and Europe will shut down access.

I respect this but also wonder why, if they disagree with Israel’s war on Palestine and they have the means to do it, they haven’t stopped the shipments before now.

the dockworkers union probably didn’t have the means to do it before now. putting together the flotilla and being strike-ready for such an extended period of time are both enormous undertakings.
