SNAP also makes a bigger market for farmers. More than $100 billion per year bigger. Farmers get about 16% of the consumer food dollar, so that's at least $16 billion per year in farm income due to SNAP spending.

Definitely. The SNAP cuts they're contemplating will cause severe pain to the agriculture sector as a whole, forcing some grocery stores to close, hurting farmers, and of course leading to more hunger.
