I think he needs to be returned to the US; if he ends up outside the US, even in Canada, it will have proven that trumpler can in fact remove anyone from the US. And if something happens to him, people will absolutely lose their shit anyway.

I just don't think that's plausible. The Trump administration doesn't make mistakes. Therefore he needs to be a criminal who was kicked out and can never return. That would be admitting they are wrong. They would kill him first.
