Awwww, I miss making those trails in Blacklick Woods of Reynolsburg, OH when I was a kid. The trails were already there, we just had to bring in the chilled water to spray the paths and within minutes it would begin freezing.

Not me. I am a bad Dutch man, I suck at ice-skating. But I remember some winters when our roads were like that. Ice cold ground, slightly warmer weather causing rain, that froze and created an ice track. We had to push cars on out skates.

Well, yes and no. Over the last several years, we actually had a couple of winters where it didn't snow until December and was above freezing often. The grass was a lovely beige color in October. Total snowfall was a few inches overall. This year? NOPE!!! Hammered with snow late Oct and brutal cold
