I've seen more Ferraris in the past 15 minutes than I think I've ever seen in my life π

Reminds ne of a wierd experience I had where, having never seen another at any point in my life, I saw two Maserati's driving by in a 2 minute span. Then, much later, one began parking in the 30 minute zone right out the front of my work building for hours at a time multiple times a week.
Our oldest kid rented a Maserati when he went to Pasadena for a wedding (because he wanted to drive one once). We wished him luck in that traffic and made sure he had enough insurance.
The irony of owning a "super car" and only getting to drive it in LA traffic is -chef's kiss-
Seen many Porsches too, and one Maserati. Haven't noticed any Bentleys yet bsky.app/profile/jaso...
Obscene number of cybertrucks unfortunately
Taking the PCH over to Santa Monica, then hopping the metro back to DTLA
Work event next, will be over in Hollywood for a stretch But first I need a nap tbh π΄ bsky.app/profile/bria...
Huge police presence at Expo/Western station, wonder what's going on here
Ah, metro card check π€ͺ
Limited time here, gotta make the most of it! bsky.app/profile/not-...
Spent the afternoon/evening with one of my friends and mentors from work, who's retiring and emigrating. We had a small-but-festive retirement celebration And y'all I am *so* tired π I pray to have as much energy as he does when I'm his age
(He's not even that much older than me!)
Started today at the La Brea Tar Pits, which was a ton of fun π¦΄π¦£π€ ...Then went to LACMA since I was right there... ...Then went to the Academy Museum since I was right there π€ͺ Then to Little Tokyo for late lunch at Daikokuya
Decided to walk back from lunch, but took a slightly different path than Friday Totally by accident, passed the Bradbury Building that was on the to-do list (but they were closed), then realized it was next to Grand Central Market so went through there, just to exit and see the Angels Flight
@gregdoucette.bsky.social Daikokuya is top shelf. Sounds like a great day.
You're a bad ass, please continue, for all you're followers!
Its the LA air... that or the cocaine, its LA its hard to tell.
That in which my best advice was best advice, despite that whole not knowing it was a fscking holiday weekend when it would be happening.
100 man-hours of overtime to make sure no one skips out on a $3.50 fare, perfectly reasonable use of taxpayer money.
You were like 10 minutes from us. That's our stop!
Down in Hollywood youtu.be/d4lmMBHlAS4
Youβd probably find them if you wandered through Beverley Hills and Bel Air, but honestly why bother, hang out at the beach today
Go to Pasadena on Sunday and hang out on Colorado Blvd at brunch time. You will see Bentleys.
Pacific Palisades is where they breed
That's one aspect of SoCal that blows my mind. Ferraris and Maseratis and Porsches and Bentleys and the list goes on.
