Tapping your fingers is now a precursor of vehicular manslaughter? That's wild. I do it all the time, never knew I was so violent.

The car itself is violent so you have to be a bit more on your guard in the rare (but not rare enough) case that the driver really is deranged and decides to kill you because you're taking too long. Is this all drivers? No. But every cyclist has stories.

Don't disagree at all. The original post was just vague and lacked additional context that was explained later. Not every driver is a dick, some of us are just jittery and tap our fingers.
