Killers, Scalphunters, Run Silent Run Deep, Flame and the Arrow, Vera Cruz....

Still going to go with Local Hero but, then again, it's my favorite film. Not exactly a Lancaster-centric one, though.

FYI, if you haven't already read it, @jonmelville.bsky.social published a wonderful book about the making of Local Hero—incredibly researched and detailed, and yet also has the sweet charm of the film itself.

I didn't know, but I'll definitely check it out. I've been rewatching it in bits and pieces this week to try and improve my mood, so I'm definitely down for a book about it.
