2/3… cut withholding or eliminate it (which is legal) and then don’t voluntarily self assess your taxes next year, which is also legal. Yes, that’s legal. Look at the title of the form “voluntary self assessment.” It’s voluntary. This is because you sign under penalty of perjury.
3/3 It has to be voluntary because the 5th amendment protects us from self incrimination, at least for the time being anyway. Lying on the form is perjury. For the sake of argument lest say this ISN’T legal - so what? It’s non-violent, and if millions of taxpayers do this, they’re screwed big time.
