Issue #2 page #1 reveals OMAC stands for One Machine Attack Construct. Can't say I like it, but let's see where it goes. (Changing Kirby always seems foolhardy but I'll give it a chance...)

As a separate thing that is not "real OMAC" I really enjoyed it. Giffen's art was perfect on this series.

Although it's not Jack (obvs), in terms of just tone and how characters and things are named, and the telling of the stories, it's excellently Kirbyesque imo.

I skipped New 52 completely and deliberately at the time. Since the pandemic however, I've gotten so, so much of. There was a lot of gold in that era so that's high praise indeed.
