Nope, and if you think that is true the Founding Fathers didn't just sit around and hope, but they acted. They even sent the Olive Branch Petition, but were prepared to deal with it being rejected.

In the end it is up to all of us. The Founding Fathers didn't just one day all show up and say lets get this party started. The American Revolution was the product of years of hard work and organization dating back to at least the mid 1760's.
