Libraries are nice because sometimes we just need to go somewhere organized, but preferably not someone’s home so we don’t have to feel like giant disaster people for not having it all together like they do

I would use my university library as an alum when I was job hunting. I liked the idea of getting out of the house. I am also fortunate to have very good public libraries accessible to me.

I like the fact that libraries are organized too. I worked for about 30 years as an academic librarian. I also have a very organized home. I will tell you the secret, the basic secret, the starting secret, to having an organized home: don't have things in it that you don't use or need.
