Well it's Sunday. And you know what happens on Sunday? Show-and-tell happens on Sunday! So show us something you made or found, somewhere you've been, something you're proud of, family, pets... anything neat, really! Go on! Show us!

This is a beautiful painting of Kermit, says this lifelong Muppet fan! Please let your daughter know that it is fabulous!
That’s really good, I love this and I love Jim Henson!
To answer your question, after the unpleasantness, I am having great fun making little pen holders. Fountain, ballpoint, vape, pencil... Whatever!
These are 2 of my 3 cats. They're brothers, almost 1 year old, and incredibly close. They often snuggle, but this time earlier today it was extra cute.
Calendar quality cute
I am working on a new table runner, I just need to add a couple more colors on each end :)
15.5 years ago I gave birth to my beautiful daughter Bella. I'm very proud.
Did she have a quinceanera? 🥰
This is so cool! Where is this?
Quebec City
Had a moment of sheer panic last night. I thought my kitty Fred had melted. He’s okay. I guess he was in relax mode watching baseball.
This reminds me a little of Dalí, and a little of some medieval art style I can't remember the name of, lol
Well you must know that cats are basically liquid anyway, right?
I'm re-learning the basics of drawing and am pleased with this 2 point perspective :)
Nice! I used to love doing perspective drawings. Recently picked up a sketch pad and markers, now you've given me some ideas, thanks!
thank you!
Looking great 💪
thanks!
My avocado tree is taking the piss and dangling one of its very few fruit right in front of my face. I was not aware that trees post Ents are capable of trolling but here are.
Ha! Would an ENT be offended at being accused of "trolling" for etymology reasons?
Damn 😱. Probably. My deepest apologies to the Ent community for my insensitivity.
My daughter started college this week, and is using her little brother to show me what she learned on her first day. ❤️
Is it massage, palm reading, or self defense?
Anatomy. She already referred to him as “meat bag”. Lol
A horned lark! They have black feathers on side of their head they can raise and lower!
Thank you for sharing this, I managed to find some pics online of him with his horns up. What a gorgeous bird. ☺️
Cool.
I’m not a trad wife, but I do like to grow & can my own produce.
That's not trad wife, that's a critical post-apocalyptic skill set. I mean, hobby.
🤣
Just means you will eat good flavour.
I wish I had the confidence to can. I'm afraid I'll give everyone botulism so I just freeze everything.
Thank you!
It's not too hard to make jam (recipes in Certo boxes!) or tomato sauce. Canning them is straitforward. Canning meat or beans is more challenging. Jam is the way to start.
Meat & beans require a pressure canner. Worth the cost for me. I like having those meal-ready supplies on hand.
Spent a few days at the coast *almost* running away from current events. Manzanita, OR, USA
Ah I've been there
I 3D printed and painted this Totoro figurine for my daughter's birthday present. #3Dprinting #Totoro
We love Totoro!
Excellent 👏 Does he have an umbrella?
Sadly he does not 🤷🏼
I love Totoro too! How big is it? Could you post a photo of it next to a common item for scale?
I'm sorry I can't take another photo for you, I gave it to my daughter last night so he's in his new home now (she's 31 lol). He's about 22cm to the tip of his ears 😁 (the squares on the mat he's on are 1 inch if that helps)
Oh, neat! I thought it was much smaller. I hope it brightens up a shelf in her place! :)
My silkscreening learning curve has become a little less steep 😁
Looks sharp to me. Making it at home?
Yes, using stencils designed in Cricut Design Space and cut on vinyl on my Cricut machine.
Always love this post. Thank you for doing it every week.
I was part of this, but as usual, got so teaching natural dyeing that I forgot to take photos. Spouse Jim was there, too, teaching how to build greenwood benches.
Walked around The Druid’s Temple a couple days ago that’s not a Druid’s temple but rather was something an old rich dude back in the 1700s paid people to build. Still impressive given the large stones and the lack of modern building tech/machines 💪 www.thewalkingnortherners.co.uk/druids-templ...
At home!?! 😍😋😍
Yes! Felt ambitious yesterday.
Well done you!!
Typically I make polished fine silver jewelry, but love making goofy stuff. When I bee in my bonnet, I am manic. It’s never intended to be perfect & always meant 4 laughs. 1 of the brass key chains I made last week. So far family members & my town’s mayor has one. The front is a message in braille.
Ok, so not really braille, but my visual interpretation of braille. My apologies to sight impaired individuals, but the condition of this country demands discretion at times.
And the braille reads “F You Donald”
Very cool
Thank you. It cracks me up, and made my favorite brother burst out laughing. I call that a win. 😂
Birch trees form ‘catkins’ made of hundreds of tiny seed carriers shaped like fleur-de-lis. This is the best I can do on the seed pod.
Yes, and enjoy the sunshine 🌞
My twins graduated from high school, they lived through the four yrs of mom being sick with stage 3 1/2 bc, but they made it! It was not easy for them, they lived with so much fear. I adopted them when they were 2, i am the only real parent/ home they have known, 💜
Our teenager is becoming quite the baker! Light and fluffy and so tasty.
Sorry, but if someone comes on this post to share political stuff, this isn't the place and gets you an automatic block from me. Encouraging others to do the same, this is a safe space for the original poster as well as those participating.
This little gal turned 4 this past week! She is a rescue (of sorts), so she didn't get birthday celebrations for years 1 and 2, so we make a big deal out of it.
Took this picture of Lake Michigan when we visited there earlier this month.
Dis is how my tongue looks from da side. I am kinda proud of it.
Miniature schoolroom, 1" = 1'. Made by me 35 years ago. I have others, but these photos were handy.
Those yellow holds look like bananas.
We're naming this route "bananas for scale". 🤣
Did my 105th round of chemo (“somewhere I’ve been”) and I’m alive 7 1/2 years with Stage 4 cancer with original dx of 3-6 months to live. I’m proof that cancer research works and is needed. People used to die within months of being dx with the Stage 4c CRC that I have.
My limelight hydrangeas are enjoying the last burst of summer and turning a little pink. They’ve been so pretty this year!
Taking top billing on that list is a global achievement.
I mean, look at that face 😂
I was trying to post a photo but our cat kept interrupting with her paw on the phone or my hand. Guess I have to post this purring goblin instead.
I got a cat! Meet Eloise Oksana. (Middle name after the gymnast Chusovitina, google her). She’s about 2. A little nippy but she doesn’t break skin. Very talkative. I’m in love.
Hello Eloise. May your nipping grow to licking 🥹
Some months ago, I posted the first picture in my reply to one of these show and tell threads with the text "This is what hope looks like". The second picture is "hope fulfilled".
Let’s gooooooo ❤️
Heck yeah 💪
Went to a fun, inclusive, intersectional, LGBTQIA+ welcoming car show yesterday called #Rustival with my Saab. The only requirement is that you love your car, it doesn’t have to be especially old or valuable. All are welcome & it’s the loveliest car show to attend where everyone can be themselves
This has to become a thing! Especially here in San Francisco. The yellow cat car. Hilarious ‼️
That’s the #Meowdi, they raise money for the cats Protection charity with it! Check them out on instagram: www.instagram.com/the_meowdi?i...
I have already emailed the people at the British Museum to see if I can have an event here in San Francisco! I just received my 501 (c) (3) last week and would love to do a fundraiser. I fostered ferals for years. However, I do not do Zuck or Muck so cannot view that page. Did see the msn video
Oh the British Motor Museum didn’t organise #Rustival, they were only hosting it, the organisers are @hubnut.bsky.social @misshubnut.bsky.social @mattfd.bsky.social & Steph from #idriveaclassic all British car YouTubers.
Thank you. I am watching the video right now. It is hilarious. I will now look into the other groups you just sent.
That's a fun idea. I like being at car shows and occasionally seeing very "normal" cars. Some people just want to be involved and that should be encouraged.
a few more cars from #Rustival the absolute FUNNIEST vehicle info sheet ever goes to the random agricultural thing that not even the owner knew the identity of! (The Ransomes seat was fitted later from a different implement, not original so not a Clue)
Beep beep
This is the tree in a vibrant forest cemetery where we will bury my mother-in-law (and the rest of us local family later) in a mushroom urn.
What a lovely resting place.
Fostering this lil dude because he was on the shelter’s euthanasia list for having a cold. Now that he’s feeling better, he is a real wild man!
Thank you for fostering a rescue ! I did it for years, and then would photograph them and get them adopted on craigslist. Only after spay and neuter. Very rewarding. And the videos were hilarious.
He's so tiny!
So cute!!!
🥹 What is wild man's name?
My friend’s daughter (10 years old) has named him Thundercat.
Aww little Liono
I got this magnolia tree in 2020. We rented an apartment at the time, so I put it in this pot, with a plan to plant it when we bought a house. If it didn’t survive its first northern Wisconsin winter, it would be a lesson learned. It survived. Bloom where you’re planted! Three winters & counting!
I grew flowers outside and for the first time, brought them inside. (Reposted to add some alt-text)
Lovely.
Hey I have been there 👋🏻
Once windsurfed in middle of Atlantic. Also water skied off the back of a destroyer ... heady days of 1988
So cute!
Looks like the right size as a pillow for a rabbit.
Teefies!
Awwww! Thank you!
Found this beautiful passage between two fields on a hike in Devon UK.
Was Alice on the other side?
I didn't see her or the white rabbit!
That's a magical place! Thank you for posting 😊
It’s like a hobbit tunnel! So cool.
It really is!
Decorated this costume and made the top underneath for my lil champ dancer’s new routine
I have tried at least six of those. Do you have a similar image for other cheese varieties?
Try searching food posters
Any found on the moon?
I would like everyone to keep repeating the misinformation about Michigan and how unpleasant life is here... so hopefully my family and I can continue to enjoy these kinds of Labor Day weekend crowds on a state park beach. (Friends of Mr. Durham, of course, are welcome to visit. It'll be our secret)
Beautiful work. The blue jay is so realistic 💞
It's not a jay. It's a tit, isn't it?
Nope. It's an Eastern Blue Jay.
Found this little guy hunting in front of house, only 2" long, still has full tail.
I was pretty chuffed with myself on Friday after I washed all of this stuff we'd pushed to the side of the counter. So proud I had to take a pic and send to my hubs lol
Is that a global knife I spy?
Yep my hubs is a chef 😊
Thank you for asking! This year, James was laid off after about 25 years at Intel’s R&D fab. We decided to have a bit of fun to supplement our income. This is our first very small fair. We’ve setup our web site, and we’re having fun! Christmas is coming - our specialty is custom work. 💙
Precious baby!
He is so cute!
Cookies & Cream Hibiscus addition to the garden. Happy Sunday all.🌼🌷⚘️💕
Penn State Blue Band’s first woman drum major. She’s tiny but FIERCE!
I did a program about the Bayeux Tapestry for my book club and made this small reproduction embroidery as an example of the work and I kind of adore it.
Beautiful work!
Thank you! 😊
Katydid
Monarch caterpillar!
Both noble endeavors 💪
