I will be sad to see Gomez leave as he’s a brilliant player and has served the club well, but our perceived lack of depth at CB is primarily due to his body not being reliable enough, so I understand the rationale. Hope he has success at Milan if he ends up going.
That is the sensible stance. The emotional stance says something completely different though.
