No one is really that arsed, especially about whatever song they now play before games, but literally co-opting chants of one of your biggest rivals does smack of a lack of creativity, but then again, imitation is sincerest form of flattery, so 🤷♂️.

It’s definitely an interesting study in group psychology. It’s not really about the songs, it’s just an overall vibe and speaks to a lack of identity. I think it’s a big reason they haven’t gotten over the line in Europe. You don’t get Istanbul or Barca without an ingrained collective will.
