Yup. I suppose technically, I'm a boomer, but I've always been progressive. I was 18 when Reagan was elected. I cried. I watched horrified as Americans embraced right-wing nonsense & Republicans recruited literal Nazis (which they've been doing since the 1980s).

I remember voting for Jimmy in 1980, but the hostage crisis was too much for him, politically speaking. Reagan worked behind his back to extort the hostages release. Then the arms for hostages/Iran/Grenada thing was headlined almost the entire 8 years of Reagan regime.

Reagan was the figurehead, but a CIA Deep State did the dirty work to install him. The same Deep State that made treason with the Kremlin to install Trump.
