🧵 1/.At the moment, as far as I know, E-Gates do not accept resident's permits. For example, returning to Paris CDG, France from UK, we can't go through EU line, we go in 3rd nationals line. We have passports checked but unlike everyone else, they are not stamped cus we are Perm Residents of France.

2/. Theoretical problem:- Visiting family in UK. Fly to Spain. Passport stamped as EU entry, start of 90 days. Fly home to France, no passport check. Drive into Germany 4 months later. Police stop me for random car check. Ask for passport. See I entered EU 120 days ago. No ETIAS on file. Arrested ??
