I am about to take that same journey in February. I’ve been saving up every dime I can just to try and keep about a years worth of salary to live on while I try to establish myself as a writer. I’m doing this at 50 years old & I’m scared as hell. I’ve been an engineer for the last 16 years.

Thank you for the kind words. I am definitely more excited to do this than I am scared but I know it’s something I need to do. I’d rather try and fail than live my life in regret. I’ve lived my life doing what everyone else told me I should do and I’m finally going to start doing what I wanna do.
