She gets mad because our kid sort of adapted my personality & doesn’t share her closeness with family. I try to tell my kid that her family is good. I’m not close with mine because of abuse & trauma. I hope that you can find that peace again and reinvigorate that ⚡️.
Absolutely agree 💯 with you. I’m sorry you have to go through all of that. It’s beyond rough. I’ve never been close to family before so I always had issues with prior relationships that were close to their families. My kids mom was extremely close with hers and she thought I was foreign.

Her mom passed a while ago and her dad has been on his own living with his brother from Jalisco and they both work in landscaping. We’ve been worried about La migra raids since the beginning of all this. I’d hate to see my kids grandpa disappeared from work. He’s been in this country since the 80’s.
That is beyond rough indeed. It’s a situation I couldn’t know. I would be worried and angry about INS harassing my wife for certain. I guess it sounds opposite of what I speculated then. I’m sorry you have to go through that. My ex is half Mexican and her dad was naturalized through his marriage.

My two main points are measures that can eradicate the corruption in our system & diminish the power of the mega conglomerates & secondly bring a sense of balance and freedom to the constituents that work to build this economic system with rights that provide us that standard of living we deserve.
Rewriting it is one thing. Enforcing it and negotiating it with the powers that have authority is another thing. It’s gonna need to be done with force because these oligarchs will just laugh at our counterpoints. I’ve been writing a ton on the things that can constitute a new social contract.
I think that there are too many men like myself that feel like we missed our window for love & we’ve shifted our fawning to our values on “freedom” whatever that is. We’ve turned to subscribing to our warrior instincts & pounding our chests with pride over the falsehoods that our kind is dying.

I decided to call in sick today and turn my 3-day weekend into a 4-day weekend. Now I’m kinda missing that free A/C in my office. It’s too damned hot to ride my bike to the beach and go surfing. 🏄♂️ Even my dog doesn’t wanna go out there. Guess we’ll just sit around watching movies all day.

That border check point right in Yuma is one of the worst for assholes working it. I’ve been harassed at that check point before and I was driving a contractors truck. The other really bad one is right at Sierra Vista AZ about 45 min south of Tucson. Those guys love to claim they smell weed.
She got really into it because that dude that looks like a thumb is from San Diego & he always would hang out in Hillcrest (sort of our hood) & we’d find him at the gay bars around town all the time. I just couldn’t get into it & when she would start comparing me to guys on that show I gave up.
It’s not just Trump who has been rewarding these oligarchs. Pretty much every administration since Reagan has done everything to appease the ultra wealthy. From free trade agreements that enslave third world workers to extending the bush era tax cuts twice and lowering interest rates for them.
When you’ve lived here as long as I have and been through the shit I’ve been through, you develop calluses over your heart. 💜 it becomes black as night and thickened with scar tissue. You just become numb inside.
After falling for a grown ass woman who thought that show was some sort of great contribution to psychology then getting crushed by her after she threw me out like garbage, I made it part of my litmus test for potential partners that if they watch that show then it’s auto red flag for me.
I tried that for a while but then I just end up bored at an office desk job and finding myself doomscrolling again. I like to write a lot so I’ve been getting into that as well.
Those are serious terms. There will be even more added but the terms stated are within reason and if billionaires won’t negotiate faithfully then it’s time to negotiate forcefully.
I still think many Americans have no idea how bad this is going to get. I saw President Obama reposting a tepid, mealy-mouthed analysis by Ezra Klein—who's never seen a phenomenon he couldn't be 5 years late in incompetently circumscribing—and I felt like we don't have what it takes to survive this.
The only way I see us renegotiating this social contract will be through a war. We are living in a new gilded age right now & the wealth disparity between the ultra rich & working class is almost insurmountable. It’s larger than it’s ever been in human history. They won’t give it to us peacefully.
It’s going to get to a point where blue states start having serious discussions about secession and creating their own nation with their own health policies and departments. We can’t wait for elections to save us anymore. Our institutions are failing us and we need new ones soon.

Now the question remains; if we know that the election is going to be stolen anyway, what are we going to do about it? I don’t see our institutions saving us. I’m not going to sit here and wait for a fraud election over a year away while the fascism grows. It’s time to start using force.

I got a permanent ban from Reddit for saying “Let’s get this revolution started”. They said I broke their rules regarding instigating violence. I’ve deleted Reddit from my phone and refuse to use it ever again. I’ve said some pretty crazy shit on this platform & so far only received a one day ban.
All I’ve got are my BlueSky pocket friends and frenemies lol 😂. Reddit banned me for being too extreme so I lost all of those friends and fenemies, and I refuse to use Xitter. Real life friends can’t handle me, so my besties are a feline and a canine. Together we are feline, canine and ape.

I saw this story yesterday and was thinking holy fuck, I’m betting the media is going to make this story disappear real quickly. I’ve heard absolutely no follow up on the details of this story. They haven’t even reported if this may have been an attempted robbery. Things are going to get worse.

I live in constant anxiety. I have frequent panic attacks & migraines. I always thought it was normal & part of my genetics. I almost never dream but it seems like every time I do dream it is a nightmare about demons chasing me or attacking me. Looking it up online, the psychological meaning is that my life is in chaos and constantly feels like it’s falling apart. I guess that explains the chronic panic attacks.
I know that this is a colosal waste of time & money but when I was serving I can’t tell you the amount of time I spent painting stuff that didn’t need to be painted or picking up trash in areas that made no sense to stay busy. Half of your service time in the armed forces are spent doing busy work.

Universal basic income is UNIVERSAL. That's a key detail. You can do a pilot that provides unconditional cash to a thousand people, but unless they all live in the same small town of 1,000 people, it's not truly testing UBI. That's where we see the big impacts, like boosted local GDP and less crime.
Well that’s exactly why I say we need a reset on this. I think we need an entirely new constitution but at the very least some amendments to the old one. I firmly believe that we should be building a system that can evolve beyond the monetary system & allows society to live free from corruption.

We really need a hard reset in our political institutions. We need to fire the entirety of our political leaders and start all over again. What we really need are a set of constitutional amendments or a new constitution all together that will put a federal standard on voting rights & workers rights.
