I'm not arguing with that, but you are playing the wrong tune that most people don't want to hear. Their "feels" are more real to them than some crime statistic.

If reducing crime does not address crime fears and only sadistic racist punishment can do the trick I'm not sure why I should indulge these people, are you going to give them the city dwellers blood they howl for?
