This is making me think of our old Cheapass Games donation chart. “Artist” got grouped with “Living with Parents” on the “ability to pay” axis. 😏

True story: years ago, I was walking with a friend in KC when a panhandler came up to us and asked for money. My friend gave him a dollar and said “sorry I don’t have more - we’re artists.” The guy, without missing a beat, gives it back and goes “you need this more than I do.” And walks away.
