There are two (that I know of) in the Artist Alley. One is right next to me and the other is near the back of the room next to the panel rooms. I looked at their online presences & one of them is a big name “Disney artist” and the other is a no name gallerist.
That’s so disappointing.
I have told the AA head about both of them. He said that he was going to “run it up the chain.” I’m hoping, at the very least, they get blacklisted from this show.
Here’s hoping.

this was in the comics and pop art alley, not the art show. the art show organizers worked very hard to maintain the no ai rule while allowing new artists to have a shot at showing.
Happy to hear that. Meanwhile, there’s artists with double booths and artists with a booth in the art show AND the vendor hall. I’m allowed to be frustrated by this. I had also inquired about showing in the AA instead, and the org said they’d love to have me except there were no available tables.
I can’t even tally the number of friends, fellow artists, and returning collectors who have messaged me to tell me they were looking for me in the art show and couldn’t find me. 😭

The Disney guy has AI on his socials (but also a lot of non-AI so it’s confusing if you don’t know what you’re looking for), the other doesn’t have any on socials or website, so couldn’t have been caught before. Which sucks.
That’s really gross. Hope I never see his pathetic ass here again.
