Its bull shit because they don't want to dissuade you from buying anything. I remember buying Planet Coaster (I was a Roller Coaster Tycoon fanatic in the day) a few years back, and it ran like shit. Still haven't upgraded my PC.

what's silly is they collect your system info anyway, if you opt into the hardware survey so, what, they don't use that to make things easier for users? why the hell not?! i mean you're right, they just want to get paid
