im convinced xiii has a lot of the meat of what was originally there. it got to exist as multiple games. it explored three games worth of ideas and exist as games you can play. im excited to see where this game goes and maybe the others too

update: made it to the final dungeon today… i told myself id finish it today but its already so late… i have many thoughts but mostly: this game really does pick up in the second half. i feel like its coming together more than i thought it would

tldr i didnt like dotf or rather i accept that we didnt get the dlcs as planned because they would have been a mess, but man, falcie eden just throwing people away to turn them into droves of senseless monsters in our path shows such disregard for their lives, its so heinous
