The baseball player clearly intended to give his hat to the boy and the adult man grabbed it instead and stuffed it in his wife’s bag. A grown-ass man stole from a child.

It’s pretty clear to me that the man and the boy are not related. When he grabs the hat the kid reaches out to him with a pretty incredulous look on his face, and he quickly stuffs it away. I would think if it was the parent there would be at least a moment of shared joy between them.

A player was signing balls, took off his hat and handed it into the crowd. A grown adult snatched it right before a clearly shocked kid and the adult kept it and put it in his pocket. The adult was grinning while he did it and handed the marker back to the kid like it was no big deal.
