I’m not sure what you’re talking about. Have YOU googled his name? Because I did. And the ONLY coverage I found for over 20 search pages - aside from recent news re: $30M & some articles in 11/24 telegraphing the pardon was stuff written THE WEEK OF THE PARDON. Then… nothing. Nada. Silence.

My point was that publishing ONE story remarking on the pardon was NOT sufficient. Everybody did that. “Trump pardons douchebag. Wow. Terrible. Oh well. NEXT.” That would NEVER happen had it been Obama or Biden or ANY DEMOCRAT. They would NEVER STOP TALKING ABOUT IT. Rightly so.

They should have been talking about ALL the pardons he’s given out FOR BRIBES. It is CATACLYSMIC. But because it’s TRUMP… Nothing. What in holy FUCK. The Media have ABANDONED THEIR DUTY. Why? Because they are owned & operated by the oligarchs SERVED BY TRUMP.

Liberal media has ALWAYS been a useful myth. That myth has been shattered. There IS no Fourth Estate - not in the mainstream media, anyway. The corporate media. That’s what they are and have been for a VERY long time.

Wealthy individuals have always been able to buy lawyers to keep their reputation. Editors would be wary to print in case they got sued. Now the media is just corporate press releases. Social media as well. But people just are not buying it.

The media did talk about the pardons including the one where a mother paid $1 million to have her son pardoned.

It was news the week of the pardon. What facts have changed since? Count the breaking stories since. There is 1 a day with a demented person in charge. The Dems in Congress and the Senate are an embarrassment. Only Bernie and AOC are challenging him, and citizens battling ICE on the streets.

When the tactic is to bombard you with a barrage of bizarre batshittery, you RECOGNISE it as a tactic, and stop playing Whack-A-Mole. You sift through the lunacies and choose the actions that ought to move the needle. If someone doesn’t know by now what the public does & doesn’t care about, Jesus.

HAD this particular pardon been hammered on by the media INCESSANTLY, HAD it been made widely known to the vast majority of Americans (it absolutely was NOT), it WOULD have had an effect.

You drop carefully aimed payloads of SPECIFIC information on them. Instead, they were hit with birdshot. “Thirty-six scandals - ugh. I’m so over it.”

You keep saying the media DID talk about these things. YES. They did. For a fucking MINUTE. Like they talked about EVERY insane, appalling thing he’s done. It is NOT the right approach.
