Maybe controversial take, but I think Hell Awaits is far superior to this one simply due to it being a blueprint for all the amazing Death Metal that was to follow.

The song Hell Awaits is superb - especially on Decade of Decadence (or any Slayer live gig) But Show No Mercy really set the tone, especially Black Magic. Favourite album is arguably Seasons in the Abyss. But RoB was just ferocious insanity. Amazing album
