Yeah. That and protecting some industry considered vital for the country might be legit reasons. I’ll stick with saying Trump’s tariff policy is insane.

Actually, that's right as well, although protectionism doesn't always end well. And yes, people in Asia can't process what's happening in the US either - destruction of the CDC, ignoring the law & the constitution, use of military on the streets and crapping on allies have us scratching our heads
