The entire movie was just Bullying an autistic guy until he carries a football team on his back in which case they all only like him because he’s good at football.

This isn’t just me reading into it too much. It’s IN THE TEXT OF THE FILM!!! How do people watch this and not feel a sense of disgust that this was made and is popular.
It feels like how in high school one of the popular boys and his posse always seems to adopt one of the people with special needs to show them around and whatever but for some reason have a lot of weird baggage around it and don’t treat them like a fully fledged person. That’s The Waterboy.
YEP. they didnt even make a message or point out of the concept, they just fucking did it as the joke like wtaf lol
Now you might say “Sage this is an intensely uncharitable view of the movie” The only person who actually likes him with nothing in return and no ulterior motive is Vicki. That’s it. Everyone else just wants something from him.
I think this is also the plot of Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer?
Wasn't that movie called "Radio"? Or "Forrest Gump"? I'm confused, how many mentally disabled football heroes are there? (and don't say all of them...) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
